United Geo Technologies (UGT) utilizes highly experienced and professional aerial acquisition firms to perform this component that is vital to the photogrammetry mapping process. Most of UGT’s projects are flown with digital sensor cameras, simultaneously using Airborne GPS and IMU technology to aid in identifying the tip and tilt of the aircraft.

The raw, digitally sensed data is downloaded and processed, with UGT’s quality review prior to acceptance. UGT has developed partnerships with multiple companies that own digital sensor equipment throughout the United States for the large area projects.
