Digital Terrain Modeling (DTM) is a process of placing elevation points at high and low terrain features to portray the surface of the earth. DTM data extraction and editing is captured in an image-based, three-dimensional stereoscopic environment at United Geo Technologies.

If detailed contours are required, UGT enhances the newly created DTM utilizing masspoints and breaklines to create the appropriate contour intervals and accuracy required for the final product. DTM and contour collection is performed using various software, and includes KLT Atlas Software, MicroStation, AutoCAD, or ESRI ArcGIS software, adhering to project specifications and client requirements.
